This document describes who I am and how I would add value to a team. It is intentionally more honest and less proper than a CV.

My path to now

I studied Computer Science at Harvard as a means to an end: unf*ck the environment.

I grew convinced that the highest impact thing to work on was the energy transition — everyone was raving about hardware, but I saw software gaps everywhere.

In 2020, I joined Palantir as a forward-deployed engineer. In 2 years, I designed and built front-line operational software for some of the biggest industry players in oil & gas, renewable energy, raw materials, infrastructure, and utilities.

Most recently, I led a 15 person team responsible for a 90% reduction in catastrophic wildfires (compared to the 5 year average) across California.

What makes some tech leads brilliant is being the best engineer in the room. For me, it was more: it was speaking everyone’s language (from data engineers to business execs), being supremely organized, and getting sh*t done.

On October 8th, 2022, I woke up paralyzed from the chest up. I had worked myself into acute chronic pain, and had to take a medical leave from Palantir. My body became my full-time job.
